Scope Festival 2014 Preview

A highlight of the equestrian calendar, The Alexander’s Horse Boxes British Show jumping Scope Festival 2014 is a pivotal event for anyone in the business.

Here we give a brief preview into this year’s festival; providing an overview of what you can expect and considering Graham Heath Equestrian’s role there.

What is it?

A prestigious event, the British Show jumping Scope Festival incorporates numerous events into a fun packed period. Many of the National Championships Finals take place here; covering everything from the Tiny Tots Championship to Grand Prix level.

For 2014, you can expect a great range of competitions and show jumping events with a range of trade stands and exhibitors also available.

When is it?

This year the festival will run from Sunday 24 August until Saturday 30 August 2014.

How much does it cost?

The showground offers free admittance to visitors between 08:00 and 17:30 but those wishing to arrive later than this will need to buy tickets.

Tickets cost £5.00 for adults (including members of Staffordshire Agriculture Society and Young Farmers) and £3.00 for children with under-5s going free. Senior citizen tickets also cost £3.00 with all tickets available for sale between 17:30 and 20:00 with no tickets or admission allowed after 20:00.

FREE car parking is available for visitors and is found opposite the main showground entrance. A pedestrian subway links to car park and showground and is for the use by all spectators and competitors.

Those in possession of an official disabled blue badge are able to park in the showground car park providing they have the badge with them on arrival.

Who will be there?

As a pivotal part of the equestrian calendar, Graham Heath Equestrian (GHE) will once again be attending the Scope Festival and hosting a trade stall for you to visit.

Promoting their specialist equestrian services, the stall will provide a range of information and be handing out great prizes to attendees. These include:

• Ear guards for horses • Branded caps for saddle class winners • Other prizes

A number of GHE staff members will be in attendance at the event so make sure you look out for us and pop over to our trade stall to say hi!
